Google is not interested in getting the public too excited about a feature of the product that may not be there in the end. The search giant has stated that it intends to offer prototypes in 2013 for $1500. Glass will be sold to the public in 2014.

 According to the reporter, the device is incredibly light, actually less than a pair of sunglasses. In the right ear piece, there is the memory, processor, speaker, camera, microphone, battery, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas. All in that earpiece!

But when you focus on the little screen, the tiny display really seems as if you are looking at a large desktop monitor. According to the reporter who tried out the prototype, the display floats at the correct distance so that you do not need to use your reading glasses.

 Google says that down the road, Glass is going to feature a radio and will be able to get online. You will be able to surf the Internet with Google Glass. Also, as small and light as the prototype is, it only will get smaller in later generations of the product.
